Kiewit Field Work Traffic Update | Week of February 19, 2012
Evening Traffic Impacts
Crews continue work along Kamehameha Highway between Pearl City and Aloha Stadium, conducting pre-engineering activities for the second section of the Honolulu rail transit project route. Work will consist of drilling to locate utilities and soil sampling tests that require the following traffic impacts:
- East and westbound lane closures of Kamehameha Highway between:

- Waimano Home Road to Salt Lake Boulevard.
Kamehameha Highway, H-1 Freeway and City Streets Traffic Plan
- Work will require lane closures with shoulder and median work
signage/cones along the side of the road to mark the work area
during the following hours:
- Evenings: Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- One lane of traffic in each direction of Kamehameha Highway will remain open in the designated work areas.
Motorists using Kamehameha Highway are advised to drive with caution and provide a safe distance between themselves and the construction workers and vehicles.
