Design Contract for Airport Section Awarded to AECOM Technical Services, Inc.
In January of 2012, the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) awarded the contract to design the rail transit project's airport section of the elevated rail guideway to AECOM Technical Services, Inc.
The airport section of the elevated rail guideway spans from Aloha Stadium to the Middle Street Transit Center. As part of the contract, AECOM will design the 5.2 mile airport section by Spring 2013.
